Description
Here is your chance to own a piece of music history. The iconic 1977 God Save The Queen single signed by all 4 members of the band (Johnny Rotten, Sid Vicious, Paul Cook, Steve Jones) and their manager, Malcolm McLaren.
Provenance: I have purchased this many years ago directly from George Peckham - Master Cutting Engineer for Apple Studious between 1968-1973. He is a well respected engineer in the British music with a huge career that includes work on catalogues of The Beatles, Genesis, Led Zeppelin, Joy Division and many other rock, punk, post-punk and new wave records pressed in the UK. He is known as "Porky" as in "a Porky prime cut" - the famous signature that can be found in the dead wax/runout grooves of the records he worked on (check for example Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures album). During our discussions George guaranteed the authenticity of the signatures and mentioned that this comes from the archive of Ray Stewart, former DJ at Radio Hallam. I also will include the Certificate of Authenticity issued and signed by him. Please note that the cover & record are mounted on a red thick card and cannot be removed - this is how I purchased it.
